About
I am an incoming Ph.D. student in Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania and a Knight PhD Fellow at the Penn Center on Media, Technology and Democracy. I received an M.A. in International Relations with Honors from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Political Science: International Relations with High Distinction and Cum Laude from UC San Diego.
My research sits at the intersection of American politics, international relations, political communication, political accountability, and public trust. I am especially interested in how political messages shape public interpretation, institutional confidence, nationalism, and accountability.
Methodologically, I work with computational text analysis, survey and experimental methods, regression analysis, focus group interviews, and large-scale observational data.
